Building a Sustainable Future — Truvant’s ESG Commitment

At Truvant Europe, sustainability is not a trend — it’s a responsibility.

We are proud to present our Sustainability Report for 2024, voluntarily prepared in alignment with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). This report is a transparent reflection of our current environmental, social, and governance performance — and a declaration of our unwavering commitment to shaping a more sustainable, ethical, and inclusive future.

A Word from Our CEO – Stewart Atkinson
“ESG is about ensuring that the work we do today creates a lasting positive impact on the planet, our people, and our communities,” said Stewart Atkinson, CEO of Truvant. “We aim to be a sustainability leader in our industry, guided by three pillars — Planet, People, and Packaging.”

Our Focus Areas

Planet:
We’ve taken decisive action to reduce our environmental footprint. In 2024, we:

  • Lowered electricity use by 7% year-over-year.
  • Ensured 100% of our electricity came from renewable sources.
  • Increased waste recycling rate to 72%.
  • Calculated our total CO₂ emissions across Scope 1, 2, and 3 with third-party assurance, increasing transparency.

People:
We’re building a diverse, inclusive, and safe workplace:

  • Delivered 7,736 hours of employee training.
  • Maintained a workforce where 8% of our employees are people with disabilities, exceeding the market average.
  • Published our gender pay gap and committed to reducing it.

Packaging:
As experts in sustainable packaging solutions, we:

  • Shifted material usage from plastic to paper (87% paper in 2024, up from 82% in 2022).
  • Reduced packaging weight and eliminated unnecessary elements.
  • Supported clients in meeting their own targets with circular design principles.

Transparent and Accountable

We actively engage in industry-leading ESG platforms:

  • CDP: We disclosed data on climate, forests, and water — earning a C score, with clear areas for future improvement.
  • EcoVadis: We earned a “Committed” badge, signaling our continuous progress.
  • SEDEX: We promote ethical supply chains and labor standards through membership and audits.

What’s Next?

With ESG integrated into our business strategy, we will continue to:

  • Collaborate with suppliers and customers on sustainable innovations.
  • Track and report emissions and material use transparently.
  • Educate our employees and partners about the climate and sustainability.

Together with our stakeholders, we’re transforming packaging — and business — for the better.
